Stagner Images · Photography Books

A story worth
holding onto.

Your photographs deserve more than a place on a screen. Together, we can turn them into a thoughtfully designed book, made to be opened, shared, and returned to.

Decade of Discovery, Adam Stagner’s finished photography book with its woodland cover
Decade of Discovery. A finished example of the books I create.

Your photographs. A personal collaboration.

More than a sequence
of pictures.

A journey, a family collection, or a body of photographic work can become something you experience differently on a printed page.

I’ve created photography books for clients as well as my own work. I work directly with you to consider the images, their sequence, the design, and the physical details that bring the collection together.

Images with a rhythm.

Thoughtful selection and sequencing give each photograph room to breathe and help the story flow across the pages.

A considered finish.

We’ll discuss format, cover, paper, and presentation together, with specifications confirmed for your individual book.

Personal attention.

Your project begins with a conversation. Design scope, production, and pricing are quoted individually before you commit.

Professional Line · Standard or XT

Made to feel
as good as it looks.

Choose standard photographic pages or the extra-thick XT construction. Both open flat across a spread, giving photographs room to flow between pages.

Acrylic cover treatments and a range of tactile cover materials create different ways to present your photographs. A coordinated presentation box can complete the book.

Available formats, finishes, page counts, and production details are confirmed with your project quote. Photographs shown are of my own edition; your book will be designed around your images.

A guide to your finished book

See the possibilities.
Feel the difference.

Before we design a page, consider the book itself. Compare the construction, photographic papers, covers, and presentation details below. The examples show real product materials and finishes; your photographs and design will make the book your own.

Two constructions. One personal story.

Professional Line
or Professional Line XT.

Professional Line Photo Book

Standard photographic pages for a more extensive collection. Preferred page range: 26–130; the final maximum is confirmed for your format and paper.

Professional Line Photo Book XT

Extra-thick pages for a substantial, album-like feel. 10–46 pages. Genuine photographic paper is bonded to a rigid board core.

Open flat. Let the photograph flow.

Both versions include layflat panoramic binding. A photograph can continue across a double-page spread without disappearing into a deep central gutter.

XT pages are approximately 1.08 mm with glossy or matte paper and 1.1 mm with silk. The difference is construction; both versions use photographic paper.

The photographs, in print

Three surfaces.
Three different impressions.

Glossy photo paper

A smooth, reflective finish with vivid color and visual depth.

Photo paper matte

A fine, even texture with fewer reflections.

Silk photo paper

A honeycomb texture and natural skin-tone rendition, especially suited to portraits.

All three are genuine FUJIFILM Crystal Archive photographic papers. Compare these photographs as a visual reference; an on-screen image cannot reproduce the feel of a paper sample.

The first impression

Make the cover part
of the experience.

Acrylic + leatherette

Your cover image beneath 4 mm acrylic, paired with a leatherette back and spine.

Brushed metal + leatherette

A customizable 3 mm brushed metal front with a leatherette back and spine.

Leatherette, linen & textured covers

A tactile presentation, with the available surfaces and colors shown below.

Photographic front covers can feature your image. Personalization on textured materials depends on the surface; we’ll confirm suitable text, graphics, or image treatments together.

Product reference photographs show example designs and finishes, not Stagner Images client projects. Final availability and combinations are confirmed before production. Custom books are individually quoted.
